Why is that everytime I put my dog to bed he growls and attacks me?

It gets scary after awhile, how can i stop him, i hit his nose and say, "stop" or "no" but he gets worse every day, im getting really freaked out, PLEEASE HELP ME!!

Stop hitting him it only says he should be scared of you, you bring pain. Do you want him in a kennel for sleeping? It takes a while but lure him into it with treats. a while meaning days not minutes or hours. Once he's in the kennel let him sniff around and come back out. He gets the idea eventually that hey no big deal it's kinds cool in here anyway like a den. When your luring him in say what you want for the behavior. Bedtime, Kennel up, whatever. When he strats going in for the treat and hears the words sooner or later he'll get the command.

Also, try ignoring him when you go to bed, just say "goodnight" and "abandon" him. This is tricky though if he's a chewer or young and cant hold it over night.

Best thing is get to a training class or have someone come to your home and aide in training. There is NO quick fix, but please stop the hitting. Would you hit a human baby or child for crying when it was bedtime? nah didn't think so. Dogs know pretty much two things fight or flight and will only do what they accept as enjoyable. So you say bedtime or whatever he growls and snaps you hit. Dog figures okay fight and I'm going to get hit so I'll fight back. see what I mean?

Also try playing with him HARD about half an hour before bed time. If he's tired anyway might help

First off hitting a dog is going to teach it one thing, Your an enemy. And i think from that just that you hit your dog. i NEVER EVER have hit my dog regardless of what hes done. That your abusing your dog. He is not a kid and not a human obviously your doing something that is freaking him out. go take obediance classes and quit ******* hitting your dog
